​Brief synopsis of the film: In a small provincial town on the seashore lives a lone inventor, self-taught and enthusiast - telemechanic Nikolai Knyazev. He hovers in the clouds and looks down on the other inhabitants of the sinful earth, "who do not understand the essence of his inventions." Only children understand him, and most of his fellow countrymen consider him a little crazy. At the end of the film, the hero is drowning in the waves of a stormy sea, but he is rescued by young people who have come to the rescue. This incident becomes a turning point in his life...
