​Brief synopsis of the film: Summer 1942. Georgian peasant Georgy Makharashvili learns that his son, a tanker, was wounded and ended up in the hospital. George goes to him. While he was getting there, his son recovered and went to the front. Georgy seeks enrollment in a motorized rifle unit and, together with his comrades in arms, fights, gets to Germany. During one urban battle, George finally finds his son, but he dies after being wounded in his arms.
