​Film summary: The story begins in 1914, with a factory strike. But the life of ordinary people from a small town in the Russian Empire changes with the outbreak of the First World War. But there are people who saw in yesterday's enemy not an aggressor, but a victim of war and a person worthy of sympathy and participation.
